Jace Anders – Head Coach

Jace enters his 1st year with the Wolves.   Jace grew up in St. Louis Park, Minnesota and played baseball and hockey from a very young age. He played on the Varsity baseball team for 3 years earning All Conference honors all three years. He played Varsity hockey for four years, was named All Conference 3 times and All State my Senior Year. He was recruited to Division I colleges to play baseball, but being a Minnesota kid, decided to follow his heart and accepted a Division I scholarship to the United States Air Force Academy to play hockey. While there he lettered all 4 years, was named Defensive Player of the year once, and led the defenseman in scoring for two years.

Jace graduated from the Academy in 2002 and served 4 years as an Active Duty Officer in the Air Force. His first assignment was to Dayton, Ohio and this is where he first began to coach. Jace coached a U12 select baseball team there for three years and absolutely fell in love with coaching. Since then, he has continued to coach baseball, hockey, and even a bit of flag football during our multiple assignments that have taken us to Dayton, Colorado Springs, Boston, and now to Tampa.

Jace’s wife, who is also a graduate of the Academy where she played Division I basketball, is still an Active Duty Officer and we have two children, Easton (6) and Bauer (3 months).
